Cheltenham Borough Council recently commissioned Gloucestershire Rural Community Council to produce a profile of Swindon Parish.

The greater part of Wymans Lane will be closed for resurfacing from the 3rd through the 10th April 2017.

County Council elections are being held in some electoral divisions (including ours).

The above road will be closed at the level crossing from 11pm on Saturday 8th April until 9:00am Sunday 9th April 2017 to allow for track maintenance works. Unfortunately due to the nature of the works it will not be possible to maintain pedestrian access. If anyone requires further information they should ring 08000 514514.

Cheltenham Borough Council is conducting a survey of local opinions on car parking arrangements in the town. The survey can be accessed online here or a paper copy can be obtained from the Municipal Offices in the Promenade.

Gloucestershire County Council have produced an excellent leaflet giving advice to dog owners. Much of it is common sense but please take the time to peruse it. It is available here.

Network Rail are going to be doing a major vegetation clearance activity along the railway (click here for details).

Sounds like a film title doesn't it? Following the fiasco of the recent road repair I lodged a formal complaint with Amey (the contractor). Two different dates were advertised for the works, the works then took place on a different date few people knew about. Amey's response can be viewed here.
