Traffic and Highways.
I noticed this evening (April 7th) that the Quatgoose Lane/Rivelands Road junction work-site is being tidied up
and the construction bits and pieces and barriers removed. The former 6” sewer, half filled with mud, has been
replaced with a 600mm (say just under 2 foot) diameter pipe. The gratings, which have been doubled up in places,
look enormous and well able to cope with any storm water that may run down from Rivelands Road. The road surface
repairs look good.
Pity that Severn Trent is going to come along and dig up Quatgoose Lane in a day or two to replace the water main!!
