CBC will again be issuing Concessionary Bus Tickets, Half Fare Permits and Taxi Vouchers
to entitled residents from Swindon Village Hall with the Borough Council providing the
necessary staff.
The Village Hall has been booked for Tuesday 10 May, between 12.30pm and 4.30pm.
The Borough Council has decided this year to issue the 100 single journey bus
tickets free of charge to those aged 75 or over. All applicants under 75 years of
age will be required to pay a £10.20 service charge. All other elements of the scheme
remain the same.
Application forms have been posted to all existing bus ticket customers and these
need to be completed and taken to the Village Hall.
CBC would welcome the support of volunteers from Swindon Parish in providing assistance
on 10 May. Interested persons should contact Mr Kevin Jeal, Chief Cashier, at Cheltenham
